Both of these men were quite futuristic thinkers, in their time maybe mad. Technology plays such a part in our society and increasingly globally too. For me this makes me feel like there is less boundaries to know people, to learn things. But society for thousands of years has worked by having a heirarchy system, whether that the separateion of the rich and the poor, the educated and unqualified, or the colour of mans skin. However, how will our future look as technology is everyday increasing in its reach and accessibility globally. If we can all have access to knowledge via technology, where does the education separation go? If we all have technology of the same sort or even the same brand, how does that make one man more special than another. I think the increase in access to technology may minimise some social barriers but I also know from histories stories, that man kind always has and alway will have some sort of heir achy and separation in society.
